We are researching and visit a range of artists and arts organisations working in community settings. We will see work in practice, discuss the work with practitioners, participants and directors and reflect with them on the lessons to be drawn from their experiences. Areas that we will particularly focus on include community engagement and social outcomes. We will also meet key arts thinkers, community activists and social entrepreneurs to develop a greater understanding of the role of arts in developing positive communities.
